THE COMPANY was founded in November 2009 by a group of like-minded individuals who wanted to create something different, unique and fresh.
The Ensemble has been very successful competitively and in its first season competing finished Runners up in both DCUK and DCUK Champions in 2013,2015 and 2016 and DCE Champions in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016.

Chop University
Chop University:
Chop University is a percussion entertainment and performing arts company. With its artist, AJDrumZ and KCox, the two wish to challenge the art of snare drumming with captivating stick tricks, rudimental playing, and inspiring videos. The love of drums and art of creation pushes the duo far beyond the normal imagination and motivates others to #GetSomeChops.
Kerian Cox (KCox) is a multi percussionist and electronic music producer from Tallahassee who has a Bachelor’s degree in music from Florida A&M University,During his college years, KCox was section leader of the drum line, 1st chair and primary timpanist for the symphonic band, and drummer for the faculty jazz band.
KCox also had the opportunity to play for the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, and perform for Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan as a snare drum entertainer.
Anastasiya Kostromina (AJDrumZ) is a female drummer, born in Russia, but raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her musical journey began on drum set in 2007, She is the inaugural Champion of the ‘Hit Like a Girl’ Marching percussion division 2017 (a worldwide all female drum competition).
Within their two years of working together, AJDrumZ and KCox have grown Chop University’s social reach from 1,000’s to 100,000’s. They have went “viral” on the internet on multiple occasions and were featured by: Xymox, Vic Firth, The Beat NYC, H&M, Space works, August Alsina, BYOS, and much more. Collecting over 1 million + views on the internet with an engaging fan base. As a thank you to their fans, they’ve hosted a 30k giveaway on Facebook that was sponsored by Vater Percussion.
